Title:single page static website with video window
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
Hi, I\'m looking for someone to take a page of a website and embed a video player into the page, which will play a two minute video. The page is completely static, with no buttons apart from the one that plays the video. There is only one video, so no database management. This is a proof of concept mock up and as soon as we understand that it works, we will move towards developing a complete solution.
The key drivers are that the video has to play in high quality and be quick without any stuttering or buffering, however I do not have a preference about whether this is done with flash or cdn streaming or dedicated server streaming, as long as the results are good. Thanks

H. P. on 27/11/2009 12:09Hi,
This is interesting, I have carried out research in video capture, compression, codecs, streaming etc... I would very much like to bid on this.
Kind Regards,

A. R. on 27/11/2009 13:55Hello Helena,
We are interested to bid on this project. But before that i would like to ask a question. Are you going to provide us web page design (PSD file) or we need to design it? As per project description mentioned by you, it seems that you will provide us design and we only need to develop this page along with one 2 minutes video clip.
Please let us know your answer so i can provide bid.
With Regards,
Alok Raghuvanshi
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
