The product range include Hair cutting and Manicure Scissors, Feathering Razors and Attachments, Cuticle Nippers, Nail and Toe Nippers, Tweezers, Nail Files, Comedone Extractors, Nail Pushers, Nail Cutters, Nail and Foot Buffers.

The details of commission structure and job requirements is as follows:

Job Requirements

• Willing to promote and market Glow brand in agreed Territory’ in UK or abroad.
• Will be responsible to promote both wholesale and retail sales in agreed territory’.
• Will be responsible to ensure that sales targets are met.
• Experience in sales and marketing. Exceptional candidates without prior background would also be considered.
• Willingness to put effort in and a will to succeed.
• The ability to speak English.
• Knowledge of hair and beauty industry desirable.




Commission and Base Salary Structure

Wholesale Sales

• Sales target - £5,000 per month leading to minimum £60,000 turnover in a year. Monthly target can be missed for 3 months in a year but achieving annual target at the end of the year is essentially required.
• 10% commission per month if monthly £5K is not met and sales are between £2,500 • £4,999 in one month.
• 20% commission per month on meeting monthly sales target of £5,000.
• 28% commission per month on any sales exceeding annual turnover target of £60,000.
• 2.5% of the commission earned would be retained each month and will be paid at the end of the year upon successfully meeting annual turnover target of £60,000.
• Base salary of £400 would be offered after 3 months probation period.

Retail Sales

• Sales target - £1,250 per month leading to minimum £15,000 turnover in a year. Monthly target can be missed for 3 months in a year but achieving annual target at the end of the year is essentially required.
• 10% commission if monthly £1250 is not met
• 32% commission on meeting monthly sales target of £1250.
• 40% commission on any sales exceeding annual turnover target of £15,000.
• 2.5% of the commission earned would be retained each month and will be paid at the end of the year upon successfully meeting annual turnover target of £15,000.
• Base salary of £100 would be offered after 3 months probation period.

Total Earning Illustration

The right candidate has an opportunity to earn in excess of £40K per anum. Using Following sales figures as an illustration:

Wholesale Sales Annual Turnover achieved - £100,000
Commission earned on meeting £5,000 monthly and £60,000 annual target • £12, 000 (20% of 60,000)
Turnover above annual target - £11,200 (28% of 40,000)
Annual base salary - £4,800 (£400 per month)

Retail Sales Annual Turnover achieved - £50,000
Commission earned on meeting £1,250 monthly and £15,000 annual target • £4,800 (32% of 15,000)
Turnover above annual target - £14,000 (40% of 35,000)
Annual base salary - £1,200 (£100 per month)

Total Annual Earning - £48,000

The Marketing and Sales Managers would be allowed to recruit fulltime and partime sales agents in their territories’ to grow business and increase turnover. However, they would have direct contractual agreement with any sales agent in their territory’ and will be solely responsible to agree commission structure locally and pay commission to sales agent. We will only pay commission and base salary to Marketing and Sales Managers on annual turnovers in accordance with criteria described above.

I wish to see the proposed products for marketing knowledge purposes; before delving into making an actual bid for marketing. There are several organizations inside the United States that utilize these type of products from Home Health Care organizations to beauty salon type wholesalers. As well, there are retail shops located throughout the United States that can be marketed to through various means in the tens of thousands. Please provide a link to a website for your products and testimonials so that proper marketing ideas can be recognized and established. The at cost, wholesale, and suggested retail price of your product will also be needed.

Hi Daniel,

I shall be in a position to email you product details and link to website in next couple of weeks. I am launching this new Glow brand which is trademark registered in UK from mid of April 10. Currently my web developers are in process of finalising web shop layout. I am hoping that web shop will be made live by end of this month with necessary search engine optimisation and online marketing to be carried out in next three months.

The products I am launching initially include professional hair dressing scissors, manicure scissors, household scissors, nail files (both sapphire, serrated and crystal), cuticle, finger and toenail nippers, nail cutters, tweezers, blackhead cleaners, nail pushers, foot and nail buffers and manicure and pedicure sets. All products other than professional hair dressing scissors are 'A+' quality grade. The professional hair dressing scissors have 65 - 68 shear strength however are priced between £15 -£21 and are very competitive as compared t Jowell, Jaguar and Sanguin brands which offer better quality but are priced in excess of £100. The scissors however exceeds quality if compared to other products in this price range. I am considering to launch further products and surgical instruments after next 18 - 24 months once existing range has been marketed successfully.

The products are manufactured in Pakistan for us which is considered best for the manufacture of surgical, hair and beauty instruments. I have full control over manufacturing process and have recently visited Pakistan. I have been able to offer competitive price by cutting middle man and by having direct control over manufacturing which helps to control and offer quality.

The proposed commission structure is as follows:

Wholesales
Annual Sales up to - £60K
Agent commission 20%
Discount for whole sellers - 30%
Sales in excess of £60K - Agent commission - 28%

Retail Sales
Annual sales up to - £15K
Agent commission -32%
Sales in excess of £15K - Agent commission -40%

I have come up with commission structure after careful consideration and I am hoping it will enable agent to make substantial money.

I am willing to consider offering dealership in USA for a certain period (to be renewed based on performance) but in this case would like us to agree monthly and yearly targets in advance of offering dealership. Also happy for you to have sub-agents provided I am kept informed and they are paid commission by you from the above mentioned commission structure.
