Title:Seamstress
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
Hi - I am setting up a new company offering personalised gifts. This will inlcude blankets, towels, t shirts, duvet covers, pillow cases etc. I am looking for a seamstress who can work at her own home and the job would involve sewing on names and also sewing on designs (for example bunny rabbit, a sun, a flower etc). You would need to cut out the letters yourself and also the individual designs and sew on to each individual product - i am offering a really gorgeous high quality service so want someone who is not only creative and will be able to cut and position the letters perfectly, but also work fast. I would pay per product. Depending on whether the product has a name on only or a name and also a product (up to the customer) - between £3 and £5 per product. i am based in Battersea, London and need someone based not too far away so that delivery is easy.

V. M. on 02/09/2010 17:05Hi - unfortunately, as these products are quite big (towells etc) and I'm hoping if the business goes well, you'd be doing quite a few each day, it would just be too expensive to post them all! where do you live?
L. C. on 02/09/2010 17:22Thanks for the reply. I live in Birmingham. Please keep me in mind if you fail to get enough local interest. The job really is right up my street.
Thanks again!

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
