We are a small online publishing business. I am looking for someone who would be interested in putting together the sales strategy for an online travel magazine. This would involve discussing/having virtual meetings about/putting the strategy together specifically in relation to:
- The drafting of landing and squeeze pages
- Sales funnel development
- Drafting sales letters to email subscribers
- Proposing changes to the website
- Magazine subscription sales (see more below)
The key issue on subscription sales is basically all about what to give away for free and what extra benefits are included in the paid for subscription packages. The design of these packages is extremely important
The main thrust of bringing people to the website will be through the effective use of social media and some SEO. This aspect is under control and is a separate "job" here, but what visitors experience when they get to the website isn't. I want to make sure that the whole thing is "joined-up" so that the effort in getting people to the website and magazine produces a return on investment. In short it's all about turning "likeability into profitability.
This is likely to be an ongoing position in terms of implementing the strategy.
