J. B. on 07/09/2011 14:15Hello,
What version of Sage Line 50 are you using? To post transactions in to Sage accounts you need a Sage SDK specific for your version.

D. G. on 09/09/2011 12:08Hi JB - I am pretty sure it is Sage Line 50 version 16 - 2010 or 2011 -----
Question for you please;-
If I had the excel spreadsheet completed by an excel specialist with all the formulae in place --- could that be separately and easily threaded into the Sage network so at the click of a few buttons the Sage info spews out in to the Excel spreadsheet?
Thanks very much
David

J. B. on 09/09/2011 13:27Not quite sure what you mean by "..threaded into the Sage network .."
If you want Sage Line50 data to appear in your Excel spreadsheet then your Excel programmer will need to have the Sage SDK (software developers kit) - this will allow his Excel code/macros to read data from Sage Line50 files.
Sage charge £1,500 for the SDK

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
