Description
SwankyApple is looking for a Ruby on Rails developer to build a job management / CRM application in Rails with delivery between 4 - 8 weeks.
##### About SwankyApple
SwankyApple is a web design and development agency offering beautiful, persuasive and engaging websites, web-apps and mobile apps to industry leading SME clients around the UK.
We are currently handling two additional SaaS products. The right candidate will enjoy many weeks of development work with us in the foreseeable future.
#####Requirements
The application needs to handle web users, form validation and interactions with a mobile application to be built after the web app. The web applications consists of the following functionality:
Users with different access levels:
* Site Administrator (1 user)
* Manager Users (unlimited)
* Workers (unlimited)
Features:
* Job Record Creation
* Job Record Tracking (time, dates, locations)
* Very basic document management / discussion thread system
* Reporting
* Multi-tenant system
This is a subscription based, multi-tenant application.
We anticipate a maximum of 4 week initial development schedule for the core functionality, with possibly up to 4 weeks for polishing and refinement.

*Functional Specification
*Suggested Architecture + Database Models
*Full .psd designs for every page
*Full navigable wireframe of site

Applicants should be fluent in English
Applicants should be happy to provide references -ideally through feedback here.
Applicants should demonstrate a strong understanding, based on hands-on development, of RoR, MySQL and general SaaS development experience.
Selected developer / team will be expected to communicate clearly and concisely, challenges, questions, feedback and build status in bi-weekly review meetings. This job is NOT for a developer or team who is afraid to talk or unhappy with oversight. Poor performance in this area (missing scheduled meetings, failing to communicate identified issues promptly etc) will result in contract termination.
Leading applicants will be provided with an NDA to sign and then given access to the documentation / designs etc. Your only concern at this point is demonstrating ability to deliver a RoR app.
