Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Num. of words: n/a
Industry: Art and Design
Topic: n/a
Tone: Humorous
Outline & Structure: Details: ** This job can be done in part remotely but being located near enough to Bath to make 1 - 2 meetings in person is essential**
We are a small, fun business that designs and sells maps and prints. We are looking for a wordsmith (probably a copywriter / editor*) to review the verbal content of our products and related communications (website, product copy, social media, etc) and to make some recommendations to help us:
- Improve how our products and brand are positioned with and perceived by target customers through our choice of words, tone, style, etc
- Differentiate our products and brand
- Identify and prioritise potential themes / topics for content relating to both current and future potential products
- Time should also include 1 or 2 meetings in person at our office in central Bath
We see this as an initial piece of work lasting 1 - 2 days in total, and are looking for a short, succinct output focusing on key things for us to focus on over the next 2 - 3 months rather than a detailed report. There will be the potential for further work as we look to expand our product range, engage more effectively with (current and potential) customers and generally take our marketing efforts up a notch or two in the lead-up to Christmas. We are looking for the right person to collaborate with to achieve this.
* ... but could be anyone with excellent English and the ability to find and convey humour in all things and look objectively at others' attempts to do so.
