Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the website: A laser eye surgery company in the UK
Description of requirements/features: There are three parts to this project:
Slicing and converting the PSD files to HTML as a responsive design
Programming of visual elements (JS/JQuery)
Handling of an application form (validation, send via POST)
The goal of the website is to capture leads for people interested in laser eye surgery in the UK.
The site must work without any problems in all major browsers including old versions (IE8+) of Internet Explorer. It must work in:
Internet Explorer 8, 9, 10, 11
Chrome
Firefox
Safari
It must also work without problems on tablets (iPad, Android) and smartphones (iPhone, Android). The ideal approach will be to make the site responsive. Please advise on this.
There are 4 designs that need slicing and coding to HTML. Homepage version 1, homepage version 2, article page and form page. You can see screenshots of these attached to this project. There are two versions of the homepage because we want to run an A/B test to see which converts better for us.
I have also included the instruction PDF files with more information. Please study these carefully before applying for this job.
Finally: after slicing, we need the enquiry form to successfully submit leads to our system. This involves XML and Jquery (for validation). If you are not comfortable with XML and Jquery, it is not a problem. We don't know whether we should divide this PPH job into two: one for PSD to HTML, and the other for the form integration. When you apply for this job, please say what you are comfortable with. If your PSD to HTML skills are exceptional but you're not comfortable with XML, it is ok - we may still choose you and then post the XML job on PPH later, when the design is sliced.
Extra notes: When applying, please state an estimated timescale for this project.
I'm always around to answer any questions you may have - please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thanks!
