Professional Youtube Banner + Logo (Gaming Channel)

Design details: I need a Banner and Logo for a new YouTube channel, it must be gaming relevant and I MUST SEE YOUR PORTFOLIO, If I can do better than you, (I'm decent at Photoshop.) Then I won't hire you, I need prices to be cheap and as I am a student I won't be able to afford anything that is ridiculously too high for two pngs, or two jpgs, you're a free lancer not an a graphic design agency, unless you can knock my socks off I won't be paying for anything too high priced, as I said I'm on a budget. I'm not thick or stupid, I can tell what original is and what a 2 minute job is, taken from a template.
Target audience: Gamers, General Public
Banner sizes: Designer must know basic Youtube Sizes.
Ideas for the visual style: Gaming style, Minecraft, SkyRim, Battlefield, etc.
Things to avoid: Templates.
Preferred colors: Will tell chosen Designer.
