Permanent part-time experienced PA / Office Manager – Watford
Contract work - August 1st Start
Permanent Part Time PA / office manager for business in Watford - 20 hours p.w
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, highly organised and a personable individual with experience of managing a varying workload of administrative responsibilities and enjoys thinking outside the box and is naturally proactive and dependable.
To succeed in this role you will need to have at least five years’ experience as a PA / office manager, you can set up processes and procedures of a busy office so it almost runs itself when you are not there. Good secretarial experience with good exposure to Word as well as a working knowledge of Excel, a professional telephone manner with excellent English and an ability to progress all levels of work from mundane tasks through to creative problem solving so a flexible work style is a must.
We will need you to:
Work with other people in and out of the office occasionally
Good I.T. skills, preferably on both PC and Mac, particularly with Microsoft Office (or equivalent). Excellent knowledge of utilising the web. The ability to produce reports, stats and budgets is also desirable
Excellent organisation and administration, knowledge of bookkeeping would be useful
Produce documents which can be relied on
Review documents provided by others
Make and receive telephone calls, set up meetings
Keep our filing up to date
Provide reception services
Share and retrieve information
Scan and maintain our digital archives
Deal with issues as and when they arrive
Other ad-hoc duties as needed
Able to adapt to changes in a fast paced environment able to work occasional extended hours
You will need to be time conscious, hard- working, able to cope under pressure when required and be happy to work on your own when the office is quiet and equally when the office is chaotic and busy.
