Job Description

I need an experienced telemarketer / lead generator to generate leads and appointments for my small web design business in the Bath and North Wiltshire area. I am a sole trader and a new business start up. The freelancer would work from my CRM database to set up appointments with local, primarily small to medium sized businesses who need new or re-vamped websites with content management system. No technical knowledge is needed. I would ideally like around six appointments per week, and for two of these to lead to a sale.

The freelancer would become familiar with the key features of my website product and sell its benefits to potential clients. These can be summarised as:

- professional, affordable websites which clients can easily edit themselves rather than paying expensive designers

- clients make a small initially payment, and the cost is then spread over monthly payments for as long as the website exists - in this respect it is a bit like a pay monthly mobile phone contract

- eight pages are provided as standard, and clients can add an unlimited number of pages themselves for no extra charge

- the sites can be edited from any computer anywhere in the world, and from many mobile phones

- clients can choose from a wide range of customised layouts, colours and images

- they can change text, photos and images, and add videos and sound with a couple of clicks of the mouse

- Google maps and links to Facebook and Twitter included

- clients can easily view statistics for usage of their site after it\'s set up

- unlike some CRM website systems, there is no software to install, no technical skills needed, and I provide ongoing local support


I intend initially to trial this approach for a short period, but this could lead to further work if it proves successful in generating business.
