Title:Parcel Force Intergration Module
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
We are currently developing our website and would like to integrate it with parcel force. We need a module that can collect data from the customer and send it to Parcel Force and make a booking. This process needs to be automated. We are currently hosted on a MS server with a ms sql database. Also any advice on integrating into couriers would be appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

P. J. on 07/02/2010 08:12Hello Paul S,
Please can you provide some more information about thisproject.
I am not 100% clear as to what you are wanting when you say make a booking...is this booking a re-delivery of an item that has already been attempted to be delivered and the customer has notbeen in? or a deliver slot (for example first attempt on that delivery? or is it collection slot?
The only reason I am asking is that I use to work for Royal Mail Business Systems which Parcel Force was one of our customers.I was a System Implementation and Support Manager for the Northern Teritory for Parcel Force sites, so I have a very good understanding of the operational side...so thats why I am a little concerned about the system you are wanting to create.
I look forward to your earliest response.
Kind Regards
Paul.
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
