Thanks for your reply, we are currently working for a large swiss based retail store and are revamping many of there product ranges. We are urgently in need of experienced packaging designers to work on these creative projects. Although we really need packaging designers / brand identity people, not designers who have a minimum of experience. Do you have a strong pack portfolio?

Your going to be lucky as there is a massive shortage of packaging designers in the market as the market in packaging has gone through the roof in the first part of the year so most of them are over busy.
I do specialize in branding, but i have only done a few small packaging jobs in my time for Thorntons and some POS, PS work for adidas.
Would you be interested in a branding designer

I am a graphic designer of some 34 years experience, but have had minimal actual packaging work, so subsequently may not be suitable for your work. However, I would like to congratulate you on being a rarity on PPH - someone at last posting work with a realistic budget!

As a freelance Packaging Designer with over 10 years Packaging Design experience, working for some very large British retailers, I would be interested to know more details about the FMCG work you have posted. Also other info I will need will include your critical path, if I will be liaising with the suppliers, who is printing the packaging and if there is any tin product included in the range as this needs a much longer production time, do you have artworkers or do you want the designer to handle this as well. Some samples of my work can be seen on this site along with my CV if you would care to take a look.

Would you mind being more specific in terms of what you would like designers to bid for as your brief simply identifies your need to source packaging designers. In other words are you just asking to see evidence of relevant expertise at this stage or do you want a price per job. The reason I ask is that the PPH site prefers designers to put in a specific bid amount per job or an hourly rate but I notice on your project you have asked for price for job! Look forward to your clarification.
