UPDATE 2: I have attached another file to describe the server and database. Although it is not 100% up to date, the most important elements are.
UPDATE: I have attached two files. The first sr22_doc.pdf is the spec for the ingredient database that we are using. The ERD for this database is on page 24.
The second file is an image (ERD_Ingredients.jpg) of a section of our database covering the recipes, ingredients and measures.
Other points to note:
The Recipes table contains a number of columns - Hat_Red to UseAsIngredient - which we thought we might use but are now redundant; These haven't been removed because we would first have to clean up any Stored Procedures that might refer to them- basically they are doing no harm and getting rid of them was never enough of a priority.
The USDANo column in the Recipes/Ingredients table is the key to pulling data from the USDA database (now called DB_25208_ingredients);
There is no direct link between the recipes database and the USDA for measures and weights.

We looking for a database developer with the ability to manipulate the databases within our site Siansplan.com (http://siansplan.com) and write T-SQL code.
The first job that we need completed is the 'nutritionalisation of recipes'. We have a database of ingredients with respective nutrient values. What we want is to provide the nutritional values for each recipe on our site per portion. There are quite a few challenges in that some measurements may be unusable, a user may not have entered how many portions the recipe creates, and that some ingredients (entered by users) may not be in our database.
We are using Umbraco as our CMS.
We are looking for someone to work on an hourly basis to complete this job, and others that we have in the pipeline. We think that the challenge is quite an interesting one.
We would like to have this work live on our site by the end of December. A designer and HTML'r will be mocking up the front end code.
