Title:Logo Design & Graphics Production
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
Looking for a designer to design and create a logo for a networking forum. Predominately for use on web page but must be capable of being uitilised in other media (including print).
The netwrojing is around sharing information about good leadeship and great leaders, but will include a membership of leaders, leadership trainers, and followers.
The logo should represent two key areas: 1) clear direction, and 2) community/sharing. My initial idea is to have compass motif in the center of two cupped hands, but you are the experts and i\'m open to ideas. The graphic needs to look crisp, clear, professional and easily placed on a multitude of background colours, but predominately deep blue as is the case for the web site.
If you wish to see a draft of the forum web page please visit www.leadingleaders.ning.com The page header currently has a US flag emblem which i will be removing, but it will give you an idea of the colour scheme and feel of the page it will be used on.

Clarification Board
I. A. on 02/09/2010 18:08Hello Darran,
Thankyou for your posting. I have been on to the website to view your existing logo/banner.
I would like to work with you on this project, but in the meantime please browse my portfolio to see the style of my work. If you would like to consider working with me, please ask me to bid on this project where I will submit a realistic bid.
Thankyou.

I. A. on 02/09/2010 18:27Hello Darran,
Further to my recent clarification.
A visual image, logo, mark, motif is a way of identifying you to potential customers on your marketplace. It is important that it comes across in the right manor, e.g. if it looks unprofessional - potential clients will assume that is how you run your business. Too fussy - potential clients will think you are not maverick enough, and so on. . .
I have a design process that asks you very specific questions about your business and your business offering that is intended to 'sell you who you are and sell you for what you clients want. The end result will give you a logo that gets you noticed for the right reasons but also gains you business.
If what I have clarified has connected with you, or you see its relevance I would be more than happy to take this to the next level. If you view my portfolio and you like my design style, please ask me to bid on your project.
Thankyou.
Ian

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
