Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Ideas for the visual style: See notes
Extra notes: We are looking at the company name Emporium Athena and need a logo (see description below of the names) and we quite like the idea of the owl in the logo? We also want one funky/cool design that would look classy on a t-shirt and jute bag? Maybe a figure of Athena to one side with large words 'Warrior' 'Wisdom', ‘Peace’ 'Art' ...by her side?
We are looking at a colour scheme of Rich Purple, Rich Pink, Gold and off white/cream?
Key words of the new business are: Vintage, Retro, shabby chic, collectibles, gifts, distressed furniture.....
We have found premises so we are keen to get started very soon
I have attached some images that I like - font idea on one and also would like to incorporate the statement 'launching independent businesses' under the logo and company (shop) name.
Look forward to your help and cost going forward
Athena (Ἀθηνᾶ, Athēnâ)
Goddess of intelligence, skill, peace, warfare, battle strategy, handicrafts, and wisdom. According to most traditions, she was born from Zeus's head fully formed and armored. She was depicted crowned with a crested helm, armed with shield and a spear, and wearing the aegis over a long dress. Poets describe her as "grey-eyed" or having especially bright, keen eyes. She was a special patron of heroes such as Odysseus. She was also the patron of the city Athens (which was named after her) Her symbol is the olive tree. She is commonly shown accompanied by her sacred animal, the owl.
Emporium (medieval Latin from Greek emporos = 'merchant'; plural: emporia) is a term used to denote a store which sells a wide variety of goods as well as a marketplace or trading centre in ancient cities such as the agoras found in ancient Greece.
