Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
My requirements are very straightforward.
I have a little application that I have written in Java, that I need to link to
a calendar data picker. The Calendar data picker code is free that I have
downloaded from the WWW.
The GUI is simple in that I use an abstract table model with one of the
columns as date entry fields. By virtue of the fact that I have little Java
experience and am not an expert programmer, I am struggling to make
the Calendar pop up only when I double click into a date field and to
store the chosen date only in that cell I have clicked into and not all the
other date fields in that table column. I do not have a detailed knowledge
of table cell rendering to be able to do it well.
For a good/expert Java programmer this is maybe an hour’s at most an
afternoons work. I do not want extra code written outside my application,
the lines of code should be within my existing code. My application is very
simple.
Also the Calendar seems only to display only a few of the numeric day
Buttons – not sure why.
Requirements
To correctly display and link a Pop up date picker calendar to a
table column using an abstract data model. So that the any date
editable field stores only the date selected using the pop up calendar.
Regards
Stevie
