J. W. on 18/03/2010 21:32 pmHi Ged,
I am extremely interested in this project, and would love to put forward a bid. I have bought Goochicoo products for my daughter in the past as she loves them - the lastest being a lovely plastic bib!
I am a self-taught artist/designer and believe Iam able to turn my hand to most illustrative styles, as well as doing caricatures and portraits for friends and family. I like to think I am a good \'ideas\' person - constantly scribbling in sketchbooks and notepads!
I would like to know if there is anything specific I can send you, sample work-wise, to give you an idea of what I am capable of. Please let me know and I\'d be more than happy to create something especially for you to strengthen my bid for the project.
Warmest Regards,
Joanne Ward

G. E. on 19/03/2010 11:11 amDear Ged
This project looks like a lot of fun.
I have been in the design and illustration business for over twenty years and worked on all sorts of projects. My illustration style is adaptive meaning that it can work in many styles, traditional and digital. It is very easy for me to adapt/adopt a style as my training/experience involves visualisation.
But more importantly... I am an ideas man. Expert at lateral/tangent thinking with creative visual ideas able to translate and develop themes into practical design/artwork for various media.
As you can see I am very interested and like the other comments posted would like to know a little more detail on what you expect with your allocated budget.
Look forward to you reply
Yours faithfully
Giles
PS: used to working with children! (my own) : )
