We are looking to find a talented and experienced telesales professional who we can partner with on a long-term basis.
About our company
- We run a marketing company that works as an outsourced marketing department to small-to-medium sized businesses mainly headquartered in Scotland.
- We work with our clients on an ongoing basis and are paid by monthly retainer.
- The cost of our services are broadly in line with what you would pay to employ one full-time marketing professional.
- Our differentiator is that we can supply a whole team of marketing professionals, web designers and developers into a business for less than the cost of that one fulltime employee.
What do we mean by ‘partner with’?
We think our service is quite a complex sale to make and proper prospecting, trust building and appointment setting cannot be done in just one phone call. We have previously employed a couple of professionals on PPH to do some telesales or appointment setting work for us but this has not worked – not because of the professionals we chose to work with but just because we feel our telesales efforts require a more in-depth approach with proper prospecting and follow-up.
As a result we want work with someone on a partnership or pay by results basis. DISCLAIMER: We are not looking for ‘something for nothing’ here. We understand that you are a professional and need to get paid for the work you do. What we are looking for is a different type of proposal that incorporates the idea of pay by results.
This might involve:
- A pure results based payment package
- A commission-based structure where you charge us a smaller amount upfront and we set up an agreed commission package for successful appointment setting.
- A more traditional monthly retainer model where you charge us each month for your sales work
What will you be doing:
- Uncovering prospects either from our prospect data or by doing your own research
- Speaking to potential customers to find out if they might be a fit for our service
- Scheduling follow-ups, bringing possible prospects to our attention and appointment setting
- Tracking your sales activity in Highrise (CRM system)
Initially I am looking to speak with potential candidates on the phone so don’t worry if you can’t get your whole proposal across initially – just give me enough info to get a flavour of your experience and interest in this job.
