Hello
I have been a wedding photographer now for 3 years but only part time as I am yet to take the plunge. After a year of extreme change I am ready to finally make the leap and I am determined to do what I love full time. The plan is to do so by the end of this year and so I would love a sparkly new website to tie in around the same time. I have finally decided to hand in my resignation in my day job because I have a great opportunity to go out to New Zealand in December to shoot weddings. I'm so excited I could burst.
I surround myself with amazing friends and I love my clients who end up being my friends too. I'm fun, I love to have a giggle, I'm cheeky, mischievous and just love life!
I am currently using a Pro Photo Blog template (wordpress) as my website and blog. I feel this has now run its cause and I'd like to create a site that represents me, my personality, showcases my work and attracts new clients. I'd like it to be interactive and to have good SEO functionality built into it.
I would need my existing work transferring to a new site without losing the SEO. The new site needs to be mobile/tablet friendly due to the recent Google changes. I am also looking to develop a long term creative relationship with. Someone who can help me develop the site as my business grows (hopefully). I will need to be looking at graphic design for my branding, new brochures, literature etc and so skills in these areas would also be a great benefit.
My current site is: www.ayesharahmanphotography.co.uk
I take inspiration from sites such as:
http://www.vogue.co.uk/ - I like the functionality of the images, how you view the images, the seamlessness of the posts and classic style. The fact that I am completely obsessed with clothes shopping and have a stack of Vogues in my apartment has nothing to do with it of course :)
http://www.emmacasephotography.com/index.html - I love this website, it's so beautiful.
http://joannabrownphotography.com/ - I really love the creativity of this site, especially the polaroids bit which I'm a big fan of. Although I'm not overly fussed about the vintage edge. I do like a lot of black and white photos. Joanna's logo is also immense.
Thanks
