Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am a Contractor, having recently set up a UK Ltd company and I want some help with the book keeping. I want someone who is friendly and flexible to set up my details in a spreadsheet and hold my hand / help me for the first few months while I get going. Once I know what to do, I am quite capable of doing it myself, I'm just putting off starting. I have registered for VAT, Corporation Tax and PAYE etc. The contract may not last for long, but I will require year end help to submit my returns etc. to Companies house. I need someone who doesn't mind me giving them a call early evening (say before 6) or occasionally on the weekend if I need to discuss something. When we get going, perhaps this can be done more via e-mail. I need advice on fuel, expenses, flat rate VAT etc. etc. I am quite happy to work with a qualified book keeper, or someone who is competent, but not yet fully qualified (perhaps an AAT student needing some experience). This will be on an ad-hoc arrangement which I want to pay for on an hourly basis as and when needed. Please give me an indication of your hourly rate and how many hours you think it will take over the first few months to get me up and running. No offence intended, but I am not looking to finance the monthly repayments for a Chartered Accountants sports car.
Thanks John
