Title:Graphic Illustration/Logo/Label Design made to Spec
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
Hello prospective employee!
Before I waste any of our times, I must say I am quite particular and picky, I have a clear image of how I want the graphic to be and may require you to edit several times, adding, chopping and changing as we progress. - Sorry to sound Bossy!
I have a rough idea of what I want making (I have done a very amateur sketch - which I will email to you)
The logo will be used as a sticker for a product I will be marketing.
Ideally I want the product to be sent back to me in various sizes so that I have flexibilty when using in future.
The image is irregular in shape, rectangular with a circular corner.
Thanks for reading, Dominic

R. K. on 16/08/2010 04:41Ok boss, It seems that you want visualize , I mean conceptualize that is in your mind. And you are looking for a designer 6o design your thought.
Yes boss, I am ready with pen tablet to draw your
thought !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please give the details
I. M. on 16/08/2010 08:10Your description sounds exactly what any customer wants, only that usually they don\'t admit as much!
You would be getting both .jpg and vectorial logo (.eps or .pdf), so that you could enlarge it as much as you want, without loss of quality.
But would need to accept your mock-up, so as to be fair.
If I don\'t like, I\'ll tell you and you find someone else.
J. R. on 16/08/2010 13:03I think it\\\'s a freelancer you want, people on this site are not your employees, they are professionals who you can negotiate with.
Think on.

J. D. on 17/08/2010 00:56James... granted it was the wrong term to use, but I didn't detect an air of superiority in the spec as a whole and I decided that Dominic was just trying to come across as friendly, even if his terminology wasn't very accurate. Give the guy the benefit of the doubt!

Thankyou for clearing things up for the member 'James Roberts'.
You was correct in assuming that I was trying to come across as friendly.
- I guess some people take things in differently.

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
