Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
Num. of web pages: 1
Description of every page: I need a new banner image for the home page of our website. We are a men's retail apparel company and sell to a variety of body shapes/sizes. My idea/vision (not implemented) was to have an image made up of 3 outline/shadow figures of men- 1 tall, one short/stout, 1 short/thin – maybe black and shades of gray- each outline/shadow person a buttons/links to the respective size represented by the figure. Together with any accompanying text, this would quickly & visually confirm with customers “yes- I’ve arrived to a clothing store for my body type” and quickly lead them to appropriate items for their size/shape. Using shadows or outlines also would eliminate any preconceived notions about the age or other demographic of customers served (versus using actual models). That’s my seed idea – who can take it from there and make it look awesome? Can't wait to see what you come up with
Ideas for the visual style: banana republic is a good idea of the look we are going for on our site
Website information: men's apparel in hard to find sizes
Urls to draw inspiration from: bananarepublic.com; http://www.petermanningnyc.com/
Extra notes: We have limited images/art to work from, so stock images would need to be used or I would need to shoot photos from scratch for your use (as a last resort- I'd prefer not to have to go there).
