Genealogical research

We are a company that specialise in medieval design and also sell a range of heraldry and family history products.

We are looking for a researcher/researchers to provide a Family History Package which we can offer to our customers at a fixed cost. In practice we would ask the customer for as much information as possible before supplying that information to you. You would then be responsible for researching one family line by obtaining the appropriate BIRTH, MARRIAGE & DEATH certificates. You would not be expected to go beyond the year 1847.

We would like to provide this service for English & Welsh families and also Scottish.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT

We have been retained by an aristocratic family to provide a written history of the family during the last 400 years. This is not strictly speaking a family tree but a written piece detailing the exploits of the family. The finished piece will be approx. 1000 - 1500 words in length. Some research will be required - as the family has a huguenot heritage a visit to the Huguenot Library in London would be required- to that end for this particular task only you should be within striking distance of London.
