Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our expanding creative team, as an 'in-house' freelance web developer.

Although creativity is an advantage it is not essential as the ideal candidate will work alongside our young(ish) creative team, producing innovative dynamic websites that are cross browser compatible and viewable on mobile devices.

You will need to have a good working knowledge of PHP and a database query language (preferably MySql). write clean, valid XHTML 1.0/1.1 strict mark up
along with an excellent understanding of CSS and be comfortable creating cross and backward compatible websites combining these technologies.

If you have a good working knowledge of Flash (actionscript 2 or 3) that would be a great advantage.

You must Email across your CV and a brief covering letter, along with any urls you have worked on

We are looking for someone to start asap.

Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
