Hi Russell,

A quick question - roughly how much content would you be looking for each week? Let me know and I'm sure I can come up with something competitive

Hello Russell

Is there a particular sport(s) involved and what kind of angle are you are looking for e.g leader type comment, personality profiles, interviews, serious or light hearted/ satirical etc

Presumably you will pay by the article in which case need word count required.

Thanks and regards

Re ID 14486

How many articles and of what length would be required for this project?

Are we talking 500 words per day x two articles, more or less?

Many thanks

Hi Russell

Do you just want comment on sport stories.
Which sports do you require content for and how many articles per week/how many words or are you looking to pay per article.

Kind regards

Simon

Hi Russell

I\'m also keen to get involved here. Could you answer the following for me please?

How many articles per day and what style - interview pieces, reporting on events, all sports or specific to a few sports?
What word count are you looking for?
Thanks
Rebecca

Hi Russell,

I am interested in your project, but would like to know several things before tailoring a bid to suit.

1. How many articles a day/week do you require?
2. What length of articles do you need?
3. What type of articles do you need done? (ie: brief news, report, interviews, feature articles)
4. What sports do you wish to cover?
5. Will payment be done a 'per article' basis or some sort of retainer (per week)?

Hopefully you can answer these questions and we can progress to having a successful working relationship.

I currently write for a European football website, covering any late-night and overnight news that comes out of the Serie A. Also, I write features for another football website, based on the Italian Serie A and Australian A-League.

I also live in Australia, so would this be a problem?

Rick

Russell

I'm a sports freelance, a contributor to UK national newspapers with my own column in a major customer magazine.

My questions are along the same lines as everyone else. I'd like some clarification: sports to be covered, wordage, type of article and rates being the main concerns.

Hello Russell,

Same questions as everyone else, really. How much material? How often? What specific sports?

Here is some stuff about me:

I offer sports writing for magazines, newspapers, websites, book publishers and corporate clients.

This includes news, features, blogs, previews, reviews, reports and exclusive interviews.

My sports journalism has been published by the Times, the Daily Telegraph, the Mail on Sunday, FourFourTwo, Manchester United magazine, skysports.com, UEFA\'s Champions magazine, and many others.

I\'m UK Senior Sports Writer for Pocket Express, an information service available on mobile phones.

Football and cricket are my main sports, but I have also covered athletics, F1, ice hockey, mountain biking, rugby and tennis.

Over the years I\'ve secured exclusive interviews with the likes of: Alan Shearer, José Mourinho, Ryan Sidebottom, Steve Bruce, Harry Redknapp, Owen Hargreaves, Jermain Defoe, Sam Allardyce, Mark Lawrenson, Teddy Sheringham, Peter Beardsley, Youri Djorkaeff, Graham Thorpe and Frankie Dettori.

As a Spanish speaker, I have used my language skills for interviews with Xabi Alonso, Roberto Carlos, Iker Casillas, Deco, Gabriel Heinze, Luis Figo, Juan Román Riquelme and Míchel Salgado.

I am a reliable sports writer who delivers punchy, accurate copy.
