Clarification Board
T. C. on 03/12/2009 12:20Hi Russell,
A quick question - roughly how much content would you be looking for each week? Let me know and I'm sure I can come up with something competitive
M. C. on 03/12/2009 13:23Hello Russell
Is there a particular sport(s) involved and what kind of angle are you are looking for e.g leader type comment, personality profiles, interviews, serious or light hearted/ satirical etc
Presumably you will pay by the article in which case need word count required.
Thanks and regards
M. M. on 03/12/2009 15:57Re ID 14486
How many articles and of what length would be required for this project?
Are we talking 500 words per day x two articles, more or less?
Many thanks
S. N. on 03/12/2009 16:27Hi Russell
Do you just want comment on sport stories.
Which sports do you require content for and how many articles per week/how many words or are you looking to pay per article.
Kind regards
Simon
R. C. on 03/12/2009 16:46Hi Russell
I\'m also keen to get involved here. Could you answer the following for me please?
How many articles per day and what style - interview pieces, reporting on events, all sports or specific to a few sports?
What word count are you looking for?
Thanks
Rebecca
R. D. on 04/12/2009 00:06Hi Russell,
I am interested in your project, but would like to know several things before tailoring a bid to suit.
1. How many articles a day/week do you require?
2. What length of articles do you need?
3. What type of articles do you need done? (ie: brief news, report, interviews, feature articles)
4. What sports do you wish to cover?
5. Will payment be done a 'per article' basis or some sort of retainer (per week)?
Hopefully you can answer these questions and we can progress to having a successful working relationship.
I currently write for a European football website, covering any late-night and overnight news that comes out of the Serie A. Also, I write features for another football website, based on the Italian Serie A and Australian A-League.
I also live in Australia, so would this be a problem?
Rick

I'm a sports freelance, a contributor to UK national newspapers with my own column in a major customer magazine.
My questions are along the same lines as everyone else. I'd like some clarification: sports to be covered, wordage, type of article and rates being the main concerns.
