Job Description
Hello ,
I would like to develope a flash drawing / painting game , the details are as follows :
1- user choose between white or black paper
2- game has an option to maximized to fit their plasma screen ( the paper they draw on will be their full size screen )
3- Then they can pick between splashing colors, or using a paint brush / pencil to draw and scribble or splash the screen with colors
Splashing color effect: as they splash the screen with a color .. the splash slides down to the bottom of the screen ( representing the real effect of when someone for real splashes a color on something )
Design and development is needed
Main goal of this game is to help to reduce stress by splashing something , drawing , painting
It will be used on a soon to launch website
please dont hesitate to ask for any further clarification

J. E. on 02/09/2010 21:36it depends i reckon you can acheive some drawing package . i cant achieve a ms paint or a photoshop in flash. but could develop a play with colour package.
which is llittle simpler. like youcan draw a line or maybe paint spots of colour, however i dont know how to get the color to fade as paint brush. There are packages released called flash and paint programmes on the market
these are expensive though
J. E. on 03/09/2010 19:56i can post a mock up version ive created the tools include a drawing with the mouse. and you able to choose different size in line thickness. and you can swap the background color. so i will post it tommorow. and do a reasonable price ok

Good News is..
I think this could be done with a travelling matt, which needs to be shot of splashing white paint on to a black surface and then incorporated into flash a matt and colourized. Also since you can manipulate pixel filters too i am sure we can get to as near to real affect as it is possible in flash.
Bad news..
normally would cost more than you existing budget, but i am interested in developing this (shoot,video edit and programming)
My concerns are you time scale, when your deliverable eta?

J. E. on 04/09/2010 12:38i dont think you understand how flsh works. its program ran by script. if you new how to do this you would have developed the paint prgram.
i will give an option of alternate background colours and six different drawing pencils. i will only send the mock version which has less colours.
you will not get a full drawing packasge you need topo be realistic.
it will just be a fun package ok
