Title:Feature Editor / Writer - Residential Property Letting Market Journal

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced features editor or property writer to help produce articles for the Letting Update Journal and the Letlink website. Experience as sub-editor could also be an advantage.

Letting Update Journal is a quarterly journal aimed at the professional lettings market which supports quality journalism with in-depth and well-researched articles. The Journal is available by subscription and has been published since 1994. We provide good rates of pay at market levels.

The Features Editor will work closely with the editorial group to outline and commission new articles using either our existing writers, or by commissioning new writers, or alternatively by writing the article directly.
We are also looking for a writer(s) who could produce articles on the letting market, technical or legal problems, and letting case studies.

We have included more information regarding this position, plus background information on the publication, our company and its products on our company website at www.letlink.co.uk (see 'About Us' section)

Your application should include:
1. A detailed CV giving education and writing experience, preferably including a recent photo.
2. We invite you to submit a short piece written on a subject of your choice related to the property letting market (800 • 1000 words). Alternatively, you may send samples of recent writing or articles.

A sample copy of the Journal is attached to this project file (Sorry, an older edition due to Peopleperhour space limits - newer ones available on our site).

A more detailed job description for Features Editor is also included in Attached files.

Project can be done remotely, but regular initial face-to-face meeting would be useful initially, followed by regular review meetings, either in Devon, London or other mutually convenient location - so unlikely to suit anyone outside UK.

Project could be considered on fixed term basis initially although our general requirement for this post is long-term.

Budget Range: We will pay a competitive rate for this position. Please indicate in your application what rate you are looking for.

Thank you for your interest.
