Excel spreadsheet for HR environment

Hi, I've selected Database development because 'Excel Worksheets' not available. It's an excel worksheet job that I need assistance with. I need someone to help me out when I get stuck with formulas and excel functionality. I'm learning and would be somewhere around an intermediate level. Can do Vlookup and very basic macros. Just learnt pivot tables so I'm at that level. I'm doing a HR job for a client at the moment and I want to create an excel spreadsheet to help the Team Leaders manage their collection of records and management of information to support performance appraisals. It's a very small client (only 35 staff) so the spreadsheet dosn't warrant being too complex.
Will need help when I get stuck.
