Hello!

I currently run an online mail order shop and I am planning an event for July/Aug 2008 and I need some assistance creating this event.

I am looking for someone who is a creative and quirky individual who is focused and determined (I'm not asking for much!). I need a person who can help to control the project from the initial planning stages and to make sure all the elements come together on schedule to create a successful event.

The person chosen would need to discuss my needs for the events, come up with ideas (and turn my wacky ideas to reality), help with budgets and timescales, research venues, entertainment and equipment hire, marketing and publicity etc.

I am from a creative industry and spent some time working in the promotional brands industry so I am very hands on - so really I am looking for a partner in crime to help get me through my first event!!!

Bidders can be experienced event planners or someone looking for their first position!

Hello Amanda,

Thank you for your message! I am based in Farnborough, Hampshire but I am more than happy for the role to be carried out remotely. I will put together a plan with objectives for each week leading up to the event. This will be my first time working with an event planner but I am estimating that I will need 3 hours work each week which will increase throughout the year as I have big plans beyond the first event! I am hoping to launch the first event in Hampshire.
