Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 3 - 4 weeks
Information for the business: We are a school support services company
Industry: Education
Design details: We are seeking a designer for a print-ready brochure. Specifically, we require an A4 wallet with the ability to place up to a dozen A4 inserts inside describing each of our services and perhaps 3-4 bespoke pages detailing prices or other information. All photos and artwork will need to be included in the price. Design, layout and photos must be appropriate to a British audience and reflective of the services and values of the company. We will provide all text.
Target audience: School leaders
Number of pages needed: 4-8 pages plus some templates
Content on the front/back side and body: design, ie graphics and photos (we supply text)
Ideas for the visual style: professional, austere, restrained yet fun - avoiding cliches
Things to avoid: US look and feel - must feel British, gritty, avoiding big US perfect-teeth smiles
Extra notes: Design must be consistent with current corporate colours and website layout - though does not have to slavishly follow design of website ( judiciumeducation.co.uk ) . In fact, we'd prefer a stand-alone design that is consistent with, but separate from website. Something that stands on its own.
UPDATE
It may help if I explain something of what we have in mind: we would like the front page of the brochure to somehow communicate the very extensive range of our services to schools - we can provide almost all their professional services (ie HR, legal, accountancy, payroll, health and safety, recruitment). This requires some bespoke design whether it's an illustration or graphic or photo (?) a mixture, or some other way - what is the best way to communicate to a prospective client (a school) on the front page, that we offer a comprehensive range of services which means they don't have to go elsewhere? That's the question that good design needs to solve.
The reason I mention the above is that we are not after a cheap and quick job, we would rather get the job done properly and can't really see how that can happen if the quote is less than £250-£350. On the other hand, we would need to see some evidence of previous work (some of the portfolio links don't work) and have some idea of what your design concept is before selecting a designer.
You can get a list of our services from the navigation column on our website judiciumeducation.co.uk
Hope this helps.
UPDATE
I have now uploaded a photo of the sort of thing we are looking for - whilst we have received numerous bids, there is very little detail as to approach for this particular job - some ideas of how you'd go about it - some design concept - would be helpful in terms of choosing a designer
