Title:Database Creation for Direct Mail Campaign

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

Have list of circa 16,500 company names, but no contact details. Want to create direct mail campaign to write to each company, and need experienced market researcher to populate database.

Work needs to be completed within 6 weeks of project starting. Requires full-time commitment as phone calls will need to be made to many of the companies to obtain contact names. Please include the cost of these phone calls in your bid so that they do not have to be reimbursed seperately.

Experience of similiar work is essential, as is its documentation with feedback from this website.

All work will be checked to ensure it is precise and not rushed prior to any payment being made

For each company I need to ascertain

1. Full correspondence address ( registered address not wanted, only acceptable if correspondence address not available at all- this will be checked)
2. Named contact to write to- full name and salutation ( in many cases this is only obtainable by phoning them
3. Job title of named contact

Data will be supplied and should be returned in MS Excel format.

Data should be sorted according to whether address is correspondence or registered office, and whether named contact is supplied.

In your bids please state

- what experience you have of similiar work
- How long it will take to complete the work to a high standard
- Whether you can do it on a full-time basis

Clarification Board

Hi Jeremy

Can you please clarify roughly what percentage of the companies will require phone calls? You say "many" - if we assume 50%, based on a 5 day week, you're looking at 275 calls per day! If we assume 10p per call, that's £27.50 per day - which is £825 of your budget. That's assuming anyone can make 275 calls per day.

Based on feedback received I am happy to accept bids based on no telephone contacts - please specify in your bid whether you will use the telephone or not.

HI, I think you just need to accept the bid from who ever you have chosen and then it shows on this page, and that should stop further people bidding
