General information for the business: data extraction from census of india public database
Description of requirements/functionality: data extraction from Indian Census website. Given a search criteria from an input file, query to extract the data and store in excel file.
http://www.censusindia.gov.in/pca/final_pca.aspx
input file will have the search criteria (separated by comma) of rural/urban, state, district, sub-district.
for the selection criteria, several villages under it will be displayed in a drop down list box. for each village, extract all the data along with the state code, district code, sub district, village codes along with description.
performance is an important criteria. please specify what technologies will be used.
