Title:Creating line design based on photographs for a wedding present project
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
I am looking for a graphic designer who is able to take photographs from 3 different locations and produce a design that is suitable for laser engraving onto a seashell.
You will have had previous experience creating graphic representations of photographs and using a level of artistic flair. I'm not looking for a line drawing of the photographs but a creative interpretation of them using lines and the depth available from engraving. Experience of creating designed to be engraved on 3D objects is also desirable.
Examples of your previous work is mandatory.
This work requires completion by 16th March.

K. J. on 24/02/2012 10:31The nautilus shell is to be engraved as a wedding gift. There are a number of antique examples around:

It's to be engraved using a CO2 laser. I'm not wanting the Shell to be completely covered by the three designs, the intention being that space is left to add an additional engraving on their 1st wedding anniversay based on their memories of their first year of marriage.
My budget is between £100 and £500 depending upon experience. There is some flexibility with this for the right person and considering the short timeline.
J. K. on 22/02/2012 16:16Hello,
Can you please attache one of the photographs so I can get a better understanding of what might be required. This will also help in presenting an idea based on your photo and the specs provided by you. Thank you kindly in advance,
Joanna

K. J. on 28/02/2012 14:16I'll have to check with the engraver. It will depend what he is willing to accept.
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
