Contact form - needs smtp authentication fix

Hi,

I have been told by my hosting providers that i need to chnage the contact form on my site so that it uses smtp. I have tried to do this myself but i keep getting an error message and the authorisation isnt working. I think that most of the code is there, its just a case of finding where the error is in the php file and then adjusting accordingly. I think that this should be a straight forward task for a developer, but i simply dont know enough about smtp and php to do this myself. For the right freelancer this could lead to more work as i could benefit from having a developer that coudl aid me in my web based projects - so the possibility of building a working relationship is also `on the table`,

I need this done asap because the hosting providers will not accept any emails submitted via forms that dont use smtp,
