Title:Company recruitment/sales for new online directory
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
I\'m setting up a new online supplier directory and need a friendly sales person to make contact with, and bring on board selected companies to become members of the website. Each company will have their own profile/page within the website structure, with the aim of generating traffic to their website/business. I\'m looking for someone who is able to bring companies on board and close the sale in a friendly way without the corporate, scripted sales pitch. The volume of companies that I need to bring on board will eventually go into the 100s. I would also like someone who has some PR experience. Contact reports will need to be completed for each company contacted.

J. E. on 21/03/2010 20:37Thank you for your invitation to bid Hannah. May I ask what kind of suppliers you would require to be contacted - or would this directory cover all sorts of suppliers?
A little more information would be useful in order to help me place a bid.
Kind regards
Julie

H. G. on 21/03/2010 20:49Hi Julie, It's a wedding directory of suppleirs, therefore it would cover wedding venues, bridal gown designers, florists, etc. So the scope is pretty wide. I hope this helps, but if you'd like any more information, please let me know. Thanks, Hannah

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
