M. K. on 18/01/2011 12:23Hi,
Our site is www.moffii.com and is up and running but we are getting national and international retailers and distributors on board now and really want to list them on the site. We do want to rebuild it but not in the immediate future.
I need a page added to the site to list our stockists on that is easy to update and a tab on the homepage so people can find it.
we have both national and international stockists/distributors and at the moment they are not listed on the site.
Please let me know if you need more info.
Thanks,
Mary
H. A. on 04/02/2011 17:54Hi Mary,
Many thanks for your reply.I have understood what are your current requirements. But need some clarifications:
1. If you want to update to the page then you need to have a database where you will store the stockist information. This work will take some extra effort and time. I have assumption that there is no page on your site that actually updates easily. You need html knowledge to update that.
I have visited some of the pages but havnt found any page which is dynamic. i.e. information coming from the database.
2. What inforamtion do you want to display on the page. Is that going to be only the stockist name and website etc ?
If you have any further information or further help please feel free to contact me.
Thanks,
Hammad
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
