== CLARIFICATION ==
It seems that we didn't explain the task good enough. Please accept our apologies for this.
We don't want a plain transcription of the things that are said in the video but a short summary of what the person in the video says.
Each video has the same structure: A person has sent a question and the person in the video answers the question.
We don't want a transcription of the exact words that the person in the video says but a short summary of the answer in written English (3-5 sentences, see video example below).
== ANSWERS TO PREVIOUS QUESTIONS ==
- The deadline for this project is November 1st.
- With "View count" we mean the number of views that the video has received on YouTube.
- The text file can be written in Word (or OpenOffice or a simple .txt file)
== ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION FOLLOWS ==
We want a textual summary of the 295 videos listed on the following page: http://www.youtube.com/user/GoogleWebmasterHelp#g/u
The summary should be in the following format:
---begin format---
T: title of the question
U: URL of the video
S: summary of the answer, should be 3-6 sentences in correct English
V: View count
---end format---
Example:
---begin example---
T: One than one H1 on a page: good or bad?
U: http://www.youtube.com/user/GoogleWebmasterHelp#p/u/282/GIn5qJKU8VM
S: It's okay to have more than one H1 tag on a web page but the tags should only be used for real headings.
Only use H1 tags when it makes sense. Do not use H1 tags all over the web page and then use CSS to make it look like normal text.
Google knows that webmasters try to game Google's ranking algorithm with multiple H1 tags so you should use them sparingly on your web page.
V: 30.069
---end example---
The summaries should be in a single text file.
Notes:
1. The following videos should _not_ be included in the work:
- What are some of your favorite websites?
- Is Google becoming like Microsoft?
- What gadgets have you bought recently?
- Which games do you play?
- What are some running gags at Google?
- What do you predict will be the big changes to search in the next few years?
- Google's YouTube channels
- Gmail Labs
- Gmail power tips
- Google City Tours
- Wonder wheel
- Which SEO agency do you recommend?
- Are there any SEO certification programs you are aware of?
- Which character in Dilbert do you mostly identify with, and why?
2. In addition, all videos that are longer than 5 Minutes should be excluded.
3. Some of the videos contain an automatic transcription. That automatic transcription should _not_ be used because it contains a lot of errors. For example the word "PageRank" is automatically transcribed with "a drink". This is an error that should not appear in the textual summary.
