Title:Brochure Design for Luxury One-Off Property Development
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
Our client is building an exceptional luxury property in the UK and requires a small format brochure (tri-fold 6-page A5, which will double as DVD packaging) featuring the CGIs of the new home and a design concept which will follow through to the website and other materials. The brochure must exude the superlative quality and luxury of this high-end development. The client has an existing logo for inclusion. The first step is to present three design concepts to the client for input and approval. The contract to proceed with producing the full brochure will be awarded separately, once the client has approved the initial design concept. Thank you for your consideration of the brief!

D. S. on 18/03/2010 13:44Hi Dawn,
This sounds like a great brief but just to clarify, are we bidding for three initial design concepts or for the entire job?
Thanks,
Dan

D. L. on 19/03/2010 10:13Thanks for the question. Please bid for the initial three designs - the entire job will be awarded as a separate contract once the client has chosen the design they prefer. It would, however, be helpful to have an indication of the price of the full job. Thanks!

Thanks!
A. S. on 18/03/2010 19:37Hi Dawn
I am an experienced housing development brochure designer but I need more information before I make a bid.
1: Is this for design proposal only (not finished artwork)
2: Judging by the size, no floor plans are required?
If they are, are they supplied including site plan or maps?
3: Is all copy and photos (per your attachment) supplied?
Cheers
Andy

1) Please bid for the initial three designs - the entire job will be awarded as a separate contract once the client has chosen the design they prefer. It would, however, be helpful to have an indication of the price of the full job.
2) No floor plans - it's a simple piece just to introduce the development and present the 'vision' Floor plans, site plan etc will be included on website. It is really just enhanced DVD packaging.
3) All copy and photos will be supplied by us. Client logo already exists. Might be good to include location map on the brochure, which would be down to you.
Thanks!
G. N. on 18/03/2010 21:12This looks cool. Where is this development being built?
D. C. on 19/03/2010 14:24Hi Dawn,
Could you clarify if this leaflet is to slot inside the front of the DVD or will it be used as the cover? Can you also confirm if the client will arrange printing?
I am a freelance Packaging and Print designer, mainly experienced in working in retail including Harrods, Selfridges and Marks & Spencer; this has included a lot of promotional work. There are some samples of my work on this site. If you feel that my skill set suits this job, I would be pleased to bid for the initial concepts at this stage.
Many thanks
Deborah

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
