The narrative is quite simple, The Bluevein is attacked by the vicious vaginas. The bluevein returns fire, has no affect as the vaginas are pretty solid, The bluevein is nearly destroyed, Cocknose orders the use of the untested prototype, the purple-headed flesh sceptor, it annihilates the advancing fleet, The crew celebrate, Captain cocknose get’s excited shouts “Orgasm”, projects one mighty wad from his nose onto a horrified Badgerface, The crew are horrified, Cocknose laughs and order is restored to the universe.
Ideally I’d like a 2D hand drawn style, think Family Guy, Adventureland or Spongebob Squarepants meets sparingly the vulgarity of Ren and Stimpy and you’re there or there abouts in terms of the style of drawing. I am open to other styles and suggestions should you have them, but I would need a test 10 second animation.
My thought on style is that I don’t want the style to in anyway detract from the humour and clarity of the characters expressions.
The humour is grounded in awkward silences, bursts of exaggeration and the pure vulgarity and randomness of the language and visuals.
WHERE ARE WE NOW?
So we are in the funding and development stage, I want to find an animator before I post on Kickstarter. http://www.kickstarter.com. The script is development and we have had good reactions so far, but we are constantly re-crafting it to make it funnier and more effective. The reason I want to get an animator on board at this early stage is so that we can create a good relationship, become a team so we can more effectively raise the money through Kickstarter, by combining both of our skills to sell to the Kickstarter audience more efficiently.
Is it a reposting? If so, we have quoted for it and we have talked over the phone few months back. If you are are still interested in us, we can discuss it and see how we can help
it is a reposting i'd like to get a look at your latest animation samples, do you have any drama or comedy animations? rather than adverts and graphics.
Sounds like a wicked project and totally up my street.
How long would the pilot episode be?
What format do you require the pilot?
Intro animation/title sequence?
Just a couple of questions but I have loads more.
I'm glad you like the sound of it.
the page count is at 16, I haven't timed it yet, but i'd say approx 16-17 minutes.
Do you mean delivery format? as in file type? or the type of animation?
A title sequence would be cool on the front of the animation as it is intended to be a series, I'd say a short sharp intro sequence of about 15 seconds.
Let me know if you have any more questions,
can you send over some of your animation work?
The Case Study is a short task that is a taste of what the full Job will be like and
gives you the opportunity to show the Buyers your skills.
Keep in mind that you have more chances to win a Job with Case Study as fewer Sellers will send a proposal.
Moreover the Buyer has already paid a fee for it, which shows that they seriously intend to award the Job.
