Hi Everyone,
I need you to draw 50 backgrounds/maps for a mobile game for which I will pay $1000. Each map will have different locations. The characters will be running on top of these backgrounds. Which means that there will not be any z-crossing or collision effects. For example, the characters will be able to run on top of cars, fountains, benches, etc. The background should be viewed from 10 o'clock angle (45 degrees).
Once you are hired, I will provide you with the necessary info for each map. The info will describe a map. However, one of your main tasks will be to include as much detail as possible. The details that you include should be relevant to the map. For example, when you create maps for downtown area, there needs to be cars, newspapers, buildings, etc. The size of the objects should be realistic, proportioned to the character's size. For example, the size of the human will be a bit larger than the trash bin.
The game is about the zombies and monsters that took over the earth. Therefore, the backgrounds/maps need to have relevant details. Cars can be hit in accident, glass in the mall is broken, chairs in the classroom are everywhere, damages on the walls from the monster claws, etc. In short, there needs to be a chaos. Every map should look like the tornado went through. Please see this URL: http://d3v9w2rcr4yc0o.cloudfront.net/uploads/stream/2014/09/767896/26115913/Park_bg_rough.jpg
I need more details than in that picture. And the picture quality should be better. For example, I don't like how the water looks like. Also, the main character will be about 20% smaller, therefore, the environments should be drawn accordingly. "I NEED TO SEE MORE OF A DRAWN STYLE". Colors should also be looking nice.
I also like the level of detail in the below URL picture:

Also, the buildings don't necessarily need to face the player or be standing vertically or horizontally. They can also be standing as in the 2nd URL reference picture. This will bring some variety to the pictures and a fresh look. If you noticed in the pictures that I attached, everything is facing the player, which gets boring very quick. But, you can draw it as if you are sitting on the right top side corner of the Library and drawing the library (talking about the 2nd picture). ***You can draw it in any angle you want that you think will look good.
But, please remember that in every picture there should be some part of the previous picture. For example, from the 2nd picture she will move on to 3rd picture (Library), which means there should be an entrance to library in some way or another. So on and so on with other pictures as well.
If you accept my job offer, I will need to see first how you do the maps. Therefore, before you do all the 50 maps, first I will need to see at least 3 of the completely finished maps. If I approve them, we will continue to work on the rest of the maps. If not, I will pay you $30 for the work you have done and will look for another artist. Therefore, your proposal should be created for 3 maps first.
If we will work together I will request you to send me 5-10 drafts for approval and to put comments (if I will have any), before you start working on finishing them off (see attached examples of my comments). For all the job I will pay $970 (when we minus $30 for the 3 maps).
Once again, I need to see a lot of details. Also, each individual map should be in chaos.
I will need the backgrounds in JPEG, JPG, PNG and in other formats if will be requested.
You are kindly requested to attach some of your relevant works.
Deadline for 50 maps: 30 days from the acceptance of proposal.
***Please, re-read everything carefully before applying.
