Title:Asterisk IBPX config & maintenance + browser-based VoIP dialling pluggable widget

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

We want a few different things, and although ideally one candidate would be capable of doing the whole job, if your skills, comfort level or work load preclude you from working on the full job, we are open to hiring different candidates for the different roles.

We want, firstly, a candidate who can set up and maintain an IPBX (Asterisk) server (preferably Debian). Secondly we want a Python developer to work with us on developing and integrating a "pluggable" VoIP dial-out widget with a website which will be written in Python using the TurboGears framework. The VoIP widget should also be written in Python. It should give the user the ability to make a call, however the number called should be pulled from a database and not input by the user directly.

If the server setup and maintenance and the VoIP widget are looked after by separate candidates, candidates will need to liaise to ensure interoperability. We do not currently have hosting, so we would appreciate recommendations for hosts.

The pluggable widget will not require ongoing maintenance, although it should be well-documented. We will maintain exclusive IP for the widget.

In your quote, please provide:
* hours estimated for development of the pluggable VoIP package
* hours estimated for the server setup/configuration
* we do not yet have a hosting company, so we'd be interested in your recommendations
* per-concurrent call hosting cost estimate
* hours estimated for the maintenance/admin of the server

Thanks.
