We are looking for someone to develop ASP classic code to generate Microsoft Word XML formatted documents from an ASP classic web page.
The sample code required will need to read SMS message data from a fixed array and generate the Word document in the format shown in the attached.
Specific details about the attachment are:
The tables are nested. The whole SMS section is the outer table (we'll call that Table L1) with a couple of header rows and 1 column. Each SMS is a row in Table L1 containing a nested table (Table L2) with 4 columns and multiple rows for each of the pieces of data and is alternately coloured to allow each message to be clearly distinguished from the next. The "Message text" box is a merged cell containing a further table (Table L3) so that if the message is quite long then it doesn't mess up the overall structure of the SMS.
The row in L2 which contains the "Status" field is actually another nested L3 table with 4 columns (equal width) and a flexible number of rows.
Other things to consider are:
1. There is a possibility of an image being shown in the "Message text" box so we need to have an example of that.
2. Mimic the column widths (roughly) and formatting (bold, red text, background colors, text alignment etc)
3. Add headers, footers, new sections (with different headers/footers)
4. Add table of contents
It is essential that the outputted XML file is compatible with MS Office 2007 and above.
There are several other (related) projects for which we will require addiional assistance in the future.
