Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Information for the business: Body Transformation
Industry: Sports and Fitness
Design details: Looking to provide either a one-page (A5) or half page (still A5) advert in my local magazine (West Wilts Magazine) for release in December.
In my line of work (body transformation), social proof is the most powerful visual selling aid. I have a client who has undergone an incredible body transformation in 12 weeks and so looking to use him in a before/after shot. I have all the images but firstly need these being condensed into a professional-looking image.
In terms of copy, I'm thinking of something along the lines of:
"What will you ask Santa for this Christmas?"
"Brian wants a new belt, a new pair of trousers, a new shirt..."
I'm more than open to suggestions about my proposed theme but, for now, I feel that the focus on Christmas and weight loss (therefore a requirement for a new wardrobe) is a good one. What I'm trying to do, to quote many a great advertiser, is sell the sizzle (benefits) and not the sausage (features).
I'm very new to the game of advertising, so there maybe a requirement for a little hand-holding.
Target audience: Circulation of the West Wilts magazine is approx 11,000. My avatar demographic is predominantly male, >35, professional (senior management), large disposable income, overweight.
Number of pages needed: One page (A5) maximum
Ideas for the visual style: As above in 'design details'. I already have the visuals and an idea for the copy text - I simply need your thoughts/ideas (on teh copy text) and the visuals being made to look professional.
Where the design will be used: Print.
