Hello bidders!
We have an excel file which features four drop-down-menu multiple choice questions, that contribute to an overall score. We need two things fixed on it and can offer £210 to cover both as a one-off payment. This could be a 5-minute job if it indeed is possible.
1) we need to make certain questions freeze out depending on earlier answers. So for example if a user selects 'no' to question 1, then they are no longer able to answer questions 3 and 4. This would ideally be accompanied by a change of the question text from black to grey, so that people were confident it was part of the functionality, and not an excel formula glitch
2) the current drop-down menu displays great on my mac, because the answers appear in a pop-up pane in their entirety (see attached screenshot, you can read them all). However on older PC versions of excel the answers display within column E of my screenshot only, so they get cropped because (as you can see) they are wider than column E... and the rest of the design means we can't expand column E to fit them. So is there another approach to drop-downs / drop down design that allows you to get around this problem?
As a final note, whoever takes on this job will need to be happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement as this material is sensitive. It is essentially your promise to me that you will not share this material with anyone else but me.
If you can help on both counts and speak good English let me know!
Best
Tim
