Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Summary:
Modifying the Prelauncher plugin (https://github.com/raftco/wp-prelaunchr) I want to be able to separate the 3 key components into their own shortcodes for which I can add to separate pages / areas within a given page and all functionality works correctly.
Acceptance Criteria:
1. Ability to add [Prelaunchr] shortcode. This shall allow the user to register via the Prelaunchr registration form. (see https://fhww.files.wordpress.com/2014/04/prelaunch_pg_1.png for what I'm trying to achieve)
2. On the user clicking submit they are directed to a new Wordpress page for users who have registered through the above form.
3. Ability to add [PrelaunchrURL] and [PrelauncherRewards] shortcodes to any part of the Registered User Area page. (see https://fhww.files.wordpress.com/2014/04/prelaunch_pg_2.png for an idea of what I'm trying to achieve)
3a. [PrelauncherURL] shall contain the referral URL and ability to share said referral URL.
3b. [PrelauncherRewards] shall contain the rewards chart with indication as to how many people the user has referred using their unique referral URL.
Shortcodes and their Functionality:
[Prelaunchr] - the form for users to submit their email
[PrelaunchrURL] - the textfield with the referral URL and ability to share said URL via social media
[PrelaunchrRewards] - the rewards section, including the user's progress and how close they are to each reward level
Current plugin functionality:
The Prelaunchr Wordpress plugin currently allows the user to launch the entire plugin's functionality using the [Prelaunchr] shortcode. However, the functionality is not separated and thus it is difficult to customise the frontend as I wish to. On the user submitting their email address, Prelauchr does not forward them onto a new Wordpress page, but the same page with an updated cookie.
