XCode swipe-able photo gallery within a tab bar controller

For Xcode 3.2.5 + iOS 4.2:

A tab bar controller project with the tab bar contained in a main.xib.

One of the tab bar buttons linking through to a photo gallery that gives swipe left / right functionality, but which can handle 100+ images with memory running out.

I don’t need zoom, pinch, rotate or display in landscape.

It also needs to work for iPhone and iPad, but that should only mean making sure the code that controls the gallery works on both devices.

The other tab bar could be set up just with firstviewcontroller, secondviewcontroller and thirdviewcontroller, but with blank .xibs that can be populated.

Would need it demonstrated that it can handle 100 images. I tried using the Apple pagecontrol project as a template previously and it cannot handle more than about 20 images.
