Job Description
I am starting my own usability business and am going to take the approach of sending a 'Written pitch' to my contacts. I would like to be able to provide a freelancer with my current version and ask them to turn it into a promoting and encouraging 'pitch' for business because it is currently reading a bit too much like a CV. The document will be no longer than 2 pages and is 'almost' there as my writing isn't too bad when I put my mind to it, but it does need some work. Please send quotes.

Unfortunately I am just about to the leave for the USA and will be gone for pretty much the whole of September. I notice that your project expires in 6 days so I guess you are looking at getting the work completed before October.

I don't think there is too much work involved to be honest as I have all my thoughts, achievements, goals, business objectives, differentiators, etc on paper and the doc just needs some fresh eyes and a bit of spin so that it 'sizzles'. This sounds like an interesting project and I'd really like to do it. I have quite a bit of sales experience - including pitch writing - and my most recent PPH writing project was also a sales pitch which got great feedback from the Buyer.
Before bidding however, I want to be clear about the scope of the project: Are you looking for someone to simply "polish" what you have already done or will there be some rewriting involved?

Thank you for your interest. I basically have a document that you would need to read and digest and then transform into a sizzling sales pitch for my new business. The first part of the doc is about usability and what my business can offer and it then describes all my business USPs to show how I differentiate myself from other usability consultants. I would need you to come up with the actual structure of the document (what the headings should be for a pitch...eg. My business, what you would get, etc.) and I need to know things like should I mention cost...etc. The document is about four pages right now but it needs to be reduced to no more than one page really. If this sounds interesting to you please do bid.

The only problem is I am only registered to bid for work in two categories: Writing and Translation and Marketing/Sales/PR. As you have entered your project under Web/IT I can't access it in order to enter a bid. Any chance you can re-enter the proposal under Writing and Translation?
