Title:Wordpress Website Redesign/Redevelopment + Facebook

Website Improvement Brief
Background – the current website www.digitaltomorrowtoday.com has served well for almost a year. In recent weeks all marketing collateral has been improved for a trade show leaving the website out of sync with the brand.
We need to update the design and style of the site to align more closely with other material and to improve conversion rates on the site. We also want it to look more like the current wave of clean websites and 'startup' technolog sites. We will be delighted to share our thoughts and examples of what we mean and what we like.
The options available to us are:
1. Tweak the existing Theme (Whitehouse Pro Wordpress Theme)
2. Tweak a new theme (or improve on DIYThemes base)
3. Create a new theme from scratch
I feel a combination of 2 & 3 could be the way forward. I already have [far too many] Wordpress themes available to use if we feel relevant. I can place these for sharing in a DropBox folder.
Requirements for the new look
1. Closer alignment with offline material, examples can be provided
2. Greater style, in line with current ‘startup’ trends – examples can be provided
3. More obvious/robust/attractive opportunities for Connection (data capture, subscriptions)
4. More attractive forms
5. Better display of key data, pages and external content. This will include display of table data from a Facebook project currently live on PPH. This work will also include better layout of key pages like our Press page and Directors Briefing where we have many images (covers for each briefing) to display.
If Possible:
Integrate Tumblr site with in line design onto the domain name (e.g. subdomain) see digitaltomorrowtoday.com for example of current curated content.
Specific Requirements
Improve the homepage – Make this the ‘go to’ page for promoting the agency services of Strategy, Insight & Training as well as links to key ‘products’ BirdSong and Directors Briefing (potentially 5 elements)
Blog – review what we do with the sidebars, if we include them at all.
Inconography – I would like a better set of icons for social connections, I can show some examples ‘off the shelf’ which could work.
Directors Briefing – we have a number of briefing documents now, each with a ‘cover’ I would like to have these set out as an image grid to better display the content
Contact Us Page – We get traffic here but little conversion. Improve the look & feel and include a sign up form either through Mailchimp or Highrise (I just need to check which one will bag the IP address as well.)
Connect with Us – spin this out into a separate page, if people don’t want to contact us directly they can follow us on twitter, Faceboo, Tumblr, Linkedin. Instead of just the links I want to make each one a block or area that has the icon and either the updates or a reason to visit the site (more likely the latter)
Subscription Page – The Directors Briefing will now be a monthly email containing three articles. I want to offer this as an online subscription so I need to get a good looking form together using PayPal (probably) but it will need to request VAT details depending on country. I need help not only creating the form but fixing the back end to make it work on PayPal.
Please flag if you can't help with the Paypal implementation and we can spin it out to a different job.
PLUS
Create a Facebook Homepage to work in line with the new site. We will need to discuss if this is just a page or a Facebook revamp to add more pages. If you have experience and wish to add it in, please include it in the proposal.
I am expecting to work with a person/team/agency that can create a great looking site with experience in managing Wordpress installations.
I have a view on what it could look like, which I will share. However I will be looking for the winning bidder to think on their feet and help me evolve the ideas.
Ideally the design to build should be around 2 - 3 week turnaround. I can start immediately.
