Wordpress Category Templates

We need a robust category posts list template added to our PlatformPro framework.

We want to be able to create unique category posts pages and be able to insert specific category lists easily. We have tried using various query list plugins but do not have the skills to make the lists appear exactly as they do in the rest of the site.

This may just be a case of working with an existing plugin and working on a template to display the lists of posts exactly as the rest of the site (like usual Wordpress excerpts).

We would like to be able to create a page and add the category posts list as simple shortcode. Something like:

[catlist='news' list='10']

This would output all the News category posts, with up to ten showing before the Previous Entries link. By placing a bid you are accepting that we'd be using your template/code on other projects.

We are also looking to develop a long-term Wordpress and PHP support relationship, ideally you'd be able to work from a Photoshop mock up and turn it into a Wordpress/PlatformPro template.
